Young performers ages 7–18 are invited to audition for Trolls The Musical JR., a vibrant new musical based on the DreamWorks Animation movie franchise!

With 24 roles plus ensemble opportunities, this production is packed with memorable characters, comedy, music, and plenty of opportunities for performers to shine. Students will experience the excitement of bringing a full musical production from auditions and casting all the way to performances on the stage at the Courtyard Theater in Downtown Plano!

Welcome to the wonderfully colorful world of the Trolls!

Trolls The Musical JR. is a vibrant new musical based on the DreamWorks Animation movie franchise. The story follows the endlessly optimistic Trolls and the hilariously pessimistic Bergens—but this time, there's a show to put on!

The Troll performers in Poppy's company live by one very important motto: the show must go on. But when an unexpected visitor arrives in Bergenland and raises the stakes, the Trolls are forced to completely rethink their production. What follows is a hilarious, colorful adventure filled with big personalities, unexpected challenges, and lots of music. 🌈🎶

With 24 roles plus ensemble, the show offers opportunities for a large cast of young performers to be part of the fun.

Our musical theater program is an educational experience where every performer is expected to contribute, grow, support their castmates, and take pride in the role they have been given.

We teach with kindness, encouragement, patience, and high expectations, creating an environment where students can challenge themselves while still feeling supported.

Whether a performer receives a principal role or joins our ensemble, every cast member is an important part of bringing the production to life.

Located in Downtown Plano, the Courtyard Theater allows our performers to take everything they've learned throughout the summer and experience the excitement of performing a fully staged musical in a professional theater setting.
